General and specific responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of each camper and staff member at Camp Tall Timbers.
   1. Campers
      1. First priority to make sure that each camper is in a safe environment.
         1. Conduct daily inspections of cabins for maintenance and hygiene concerns.
         2. Ensure that proper supervision is taking place in the cabin.
         3. Oversee that each cabin has a system in place for maintaining the hygiene and safety of the campers.
      2. See that each camper has a good time and makes friends while at camp.
         1. Help campers adjust to the camp environment.
         2. Assist and supervise the evening program
         3. Assist staff members and directors with problem campers, i.e., homesick discipline, etc.
   2. Staff
      1. Act as a reference to the staff concerning any camp issue.
         1. Oversee and supervise staff members, in coordination with the director.
         2. Work with program directors as needed in overseeing predetermined activity areas. Ensure that the activity is safe and well organized.
            1. Complete activity evaluation reports.
            2. Assist with lesson plans for activity.
         3. Work with the director in establishing guidelines and implementation of rules of the camp, i.e., bedtime, etc.
