Check out your future getaway,
Away from the Everyday
Spend an afternoon at camp before you enroll,
and ask the questions you’ve been meaning to get answered.
Sending your child somewhere for an extended period of time, overnight, is not a decision you should have to make off a website. Our Open House events exist so you can meet the people who will be responsible for your camper, see the cabin they would sleep in, and get straight answers about supervision, safety, and what a day here actually looks like. Bring your camper, and by the end of the morning, camp stops being a photo gallery and starts being a real place close to home.
What You Are Actually Deciding
You are not choosing between activity lists. You are deciding which group of adults you trust to care for your camper and which camp is going to give your child the meaningful summer they deserve. Not just time away from home but time spent building relationships and independence. Every camp makes the same promises; come hold us to ours during a real look at Camp Tall Timbers.

What the Visit Looks Like
Plan on about two hours. Here is the shape of it:
- A guided walk of the grounds with Glenn or a member of the leadership team, covering the cabins, the private lake and swim area, the dining hall, the health center, and the activity areas.
- Time with the team to talk through staffing, safety, and a typical camp day hour by hour.
- A walkthrough of session lengths, what tuition covers, and the payment schedule, with no expectation that you decide anything on-site.
- A chance to compare notes with other families doing exactly the research you are doing.
- Lunch!
