Family Weekend

At Camp Tall Timbers

One weekend. You and your camper. The same lake, cabins, and campfires your camper will call home next summer.

Family Weekend is a full day and overnight together on 120 acres in High View, West Virginia. It’s the closest thing to a trial run for camp life, built for families who want to feel it for themselves before signing on for the summer. Come play together, share a meal, spend the night in a cabin, and sit around the campfire to experience a true summer camp environment.

A Deeper Look Than a Simple
Tour Can Give You

While an Open House shows you around camp, Family Weekend lets you live it! Many of the families who join us are considering overnight camp for the first time and want more than just a walk-through. Others are current camp families who simply want a weekend of unplugged, screen-free time together. Either way, you’ll leave with a feel for what a session at Camp Tall Timbers is like.

Pick the weekend that fits your family’s calendar. Both follow the same schedule and offer the same full camp experience.

October 10 - 11, 2026

June 5 -6, 2027

Get a firsthand look at camp before summer sessions fill up. Late spring at Camp Tall Timbers means green trees, open trails, and a lake that’s just starting to warm up for the season.
